School Programs

    • PTA: The John Brown Francis PTA is dedicated to providing our school with many cultural, educational and physical activities and opportunities. Meetings are held the first Monday of every month.
    • Principal’s Tea: Every other month prior to the PTA meeting, come join the principal for a discussion on topics related to education. 
    • School Improvement Team: This team is made up of Principal, teachers and parents to develop and work on plans that improve the academic and social climate of the school.
    • Open House: Held in early fall, come and meet the faculty
    • Tech Buddies: Our 6th graders are working with our Kindergarteners helping them learn how to use technology
    • Reading Buddies: 6th graders are working with the 1st graders to improve reading fluency
    • Senior Buddies: The 5th grade students work with Senior Citizens from the Pilgrim Senior Center on various activites
    • V.O.W.S.: Volunteers of Warwick Schools
    • After School Enrichment Programs: We are currently offering Dancing with Hula Hoops, coming soon we will have Legos Club, Holiday Arts and Crafts Club, and a Robotics Club
    • Chorus: Made up of students from grades five and six.
    • Instrumental Music Program: Students in grades 4,5, and 6 may learn to play a variety of instrument
    • Feinstein Program: Francis is a Feinstein award winning School, teaching the students personal and community responsibility.
    • Drama Club: Held every Wednesday after school in the months of November through May for the students in grades 5 & 6.
    • Mentor Program: Professional from the community trained by the Warwick Chamber of Commerce to mentor an individual child on a weekly basis. We currently have mentors from Citizens Bank
